How to Schedule Your Visit
Without a GP Referral
You can book an appointment directly via phone or website enquiry without a GP referral. Note that private consultation fees will apply, which includes your consultation and an optional ultrasound.
With a GP Referral
If you have a referral from your GP, ensure it is forwarded to us before your appointment or bring it along to your consultation. While part of your fee is reimbursed by Medicare, a private consultation fee applies.
Referral Forms
For your convenience, we have provided downloadable referral forms, although not required for patient treatments at Meridian Vein and Pain, patients or GP’s can choose to book a consultation with a referral.

• Pain Referral Form
Ideal for patients needing specialised pain management services.
• Vein Referral Form
Use this form for patients requiring assessment and treatment of venous conditions.
Private Health Insurance
Some procedures may be covered under your private health insurance, particularly pain management procedures and radiofrequency ablation, while coverage for vein treatments varies. Please verify with our clinical staff if your insurance plan covers the specific procedures you need.
Bulk Billing
Please note that Meridian Vein and Pain is a fully private clinic and does not offer bulk billing services. All consultations, procedures, and treatments are provided on a fee-for-service basis. We are committed to providing the highest quality care, utilising the latest technologies and treatment methods available in a private healthcare setting. Detailed information on our fee structure is available upon request, and we are happy to discuss any financial concerns you may have prior to your appointment.
